Waste management (or waste disposal) includes the activities and actions required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes the collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste, together with monitoring and regulation of the waste management process.
A waste management audit identifies all waste streams that a client is responsible for producing, or for managing on behalf of others, for example tenants. An audit identifies current waste performance and offers potential missing controls and improvements that could be made to the systems in place.
